Delete your account
Request the deletion of your GodBrowser account and the personal data tied to it. You do not need to be able to sign in. Every request is recorded and answered with a reference number.
How deletion works today
Account deletion is request-based: there is currently no "delete my account" button inside the dashboard at portal.godbrowser.io. You file the request below (or by email), we verify that it comes from the account holder, and a member of our team performs the deletion. You do not need an active login — a user who has lost access to their account has exactly the same right to have it deleted.
- Acknowledgement: we reply to the email address you give us within 3 business days, quoting your reference number.
- Verification: we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address registered on the account (or the mobile number, if you added one). This is to stop someone else deleting your account.
- Completion: deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request, and we confirm to you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account record and login identity (email address, mobile number if added, display name, password hash) at our identity provider.
- Every API key issued to the account (we hold only their hashes; those are removed too), and the secrets you stored in the account vault.
- Your workflows, their result rows and stored result objects, session recordings, saved personas/recipes, and the tenant that scoped them.
- Your row in the early-access list, if you signed up there with the same email address.
- Your nodes are unenrolled from the cluster. Software you installed on your own machines is yours to remove — we never had access to it or to what it browsed (Privacy Policy, Section 3).
What is retained, and why
- Request and security logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for a limited period, for security and abuse prevention.
- The deletion request itself — the reference number, your email address and the dates — so we can prove the request was received and completed if you or a regulator ask.
- Records we are legally required to keep. We do not currently take payments, so there are no invoices or billing records today; if that changes, billing records are kept for the period tax law requires.
- Aggregate usage counters that cannot identify you.
Everything else is erased. Deleting your account also withdraws any consent you gave us (for example to product news), and we stop all messages to you.
Only want to delete part of your data?
You can delete individual workflows and their results, sessions, recordings, secrets and API keys yourself from the dashboard at any time; that removes both the database rows and the stored objects. To remove a mobile number, delete it in your account settings (or reply STOP to any message from us). To get a copy of your data instead of (or before) deleting it, use the dedicated page: godbrowser.io/export-data. For a correction request, use the support form.
Request deletion
Recorded immediately; you get a reference number on this page. Only the email address is required.
Prefer email? Write to support@godbrowser.io from the address on the account, with the subject "Account deletion request". The form above is the channel we recommend: it is recorded and ticketed the moment you submit it.
